Day 1

Transfer from Pisa or Florence Apt to the Hotel. 

Day 2
Sant'Antimo Abbey

To gladden your transfer from the Hotel to Montalcino we will pass through the beautiful Crete Senesi area to discover spectacular views over the valley while the guide will inform you about the history of this ancient hilltop village.
Our Brunello tour starts from the southern part of Montalcinodistrict, where some of the best and renowned wineries are located. Expert guides will show you the whole wine making process and will introduce you in some of the strict Brunello productions rules.
During the tasting you will learn how to recognize the difference in flavor and structure between the every day Rosso di Montalcinoand the older Brunello di Montalcino DOCG as well as Extra Virgin Olive OilGrappa and Visanto.
Afterward we will reach a peaceful restaurant with spectacular view to enjoy a superb lunch.
The last hour is dedicated to Montalcino sightseeing and some local delicatessen tasting.

Day 3

The Wine School will take place during the morning in order to permit you to learn almost everything about the wine making process and Italian wine production rules and feeling the rest of the day as an expert Italian wine connoisseur.
During our full day tour you'll taste some of the most renowned Tuscan wines as Brunello di Montalcino DOCG,Chianti ClassicoRiserva and Supertuscans.
The owner will show us how to professionally taste the flavored Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Balsamic Vinegar,Truffle Oil and Pecorino cheese will be served during the wine school.San GimignanoTo complete the tasting the owner will serve you the famous Tuscandessert wine Vinsanto and cantucci biscuits.
On the road to San Gimignano our guide will introduce you into the history of this romantic and well preserved medieval village.
We will reserve for you a great meal in a local "not touristy" restaurant.
After lunch, you'll spend a couple of hours into San Gimignanovillage for sightseeing and shopping through the city centre.
In San Gimignano is possible to climb up the "Torre Grossa" to enjoy a spectacular view over the valley or, if you prefer, you can taste some more wine at the "Vernaccia Wine Museum"and obviously don't miss the "Best Ice-creamin the world.
A local map and guide plus some of our personal recommendation will be provide.

Day 4

In the morning we will reach the Chianti Classico area driving through beautiful country roads.
Our first stop will be at one of the most prestigious Chianti Castlesand wine estate.
In the Middle Age all the 'Chianti' area was covered with many fortified settlements.
These castles were fiefs of the many different local lords, like the counts Guidi, the Trebbiesi, the 'da Monte Rinaldi'.
Since the 1201, after the peace of Fonterutoli, Florence starts to wield its power on the region. At the beginning of the 14th century this territory was organized in 'Terzieri' united in the new born 'Chianti League'.
The expert English speaking guide will explain you all about the Castle history and the wine making process from the vine growing to the bottle ageing.
At the end of the Castle tour you will taste and enjoy all the estate production as winesoil and much more.
For lunch we will reserve for you a great meal in a local restaurant.
We have selected for our guests some of the best restaurants of the region, where you will appreciate the tasty and gourmet Tuscany dishes.
After lunch you will visit a small medieval village for sightseeing and shopping.
