| Particularly suitable for young people looking for a place to stay right in the heart of the historic center of Siena, Palazzo Rossi is a medieval patrician town house dating back to the 1200's, located just steps away from the Piazza del Campo.
Despite having been altered on various occasions since its construction, the building still boasts a great many authentic, 13th century architectural features.
Guests reach the six rooms located on the top floor of the palazzo via a long flight of stone steps. The climb is amply rewarded by the magnificent views over the roof tops of Siena to be seen from a number of the rooms and from the communal terrace, from where the imposing dome of the Church of San Provenzano is literally a stone's throw away.
The rooms are all tastefully furnished and equipped with television, large wardrobes, and full-sized writing desk. Some rooms have the additional appeal of having their own private bathroom. Each room is individually appointed, some have exposed wooden beams, others frescoed ceilings. If you're lucky, you may be assigned the attic room from where to climb a tiny flight of narrow wooden stairs and access your own private roof-top terrace where to relax whilst gazing across the skyline of this unique medieval city.
Communal spaces include a dining room, terrace with table and chairs, and generous sized kitchen complete with washing machine, large fridge, and oven.
