 A travel package that will let you enjoy the old art of truffles search with the help of skilled local hunters. The proposal is based on the amazing village of Montalcino, worldwide famous for is Brunello red wine.
1st Day: Friday
- Arrival in Montalcino in the afternoon
- Accommodation in Rifugio d'Altri Tempi B&B and free visit of Montalcino.
- Dinner by Osteria d'Altri Tempi with Half/board menu.
2nd Day: Saturday
- Breakfast.
- 8:30 AM departure from B&B with GT Mercedes Limousine.
- Meeting in Torrenieri (SI) with a guide expert in truffles search. Two hours dedicated to the search of valuable white truffles of 'Sienese Crete'.
- 11:30 AM back in Montacino.
- 12:30 AM lunch in the wine tasting room, close to the cellar, with truffle-based menu and tasting of Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino from several years (Riserva 1986, Brunello 1998, Brunello 2001, Brunello 2003).
- In the afternoon visit to the Padelletti Cellar and possibility to buy tasted wine. Free visit to Montalcino.
- Dinner by Osteria d'Altri Tempi with typical tuscan menu.
3rd Day: Sunday
- 8:30 AM departure with GT Mercedes Limousine for a full day tour in Siena and San Gimignano. (There is not guided visit to Siena and San Gimignano, but the driver will give you useful suggestions on what to visit). Optional lunch by the famous Le Logge Restaurant*. Back to Rifugio d'Altri Tempi in late afternoon and dinner by Osteria d'Altri Tempi .
4th Day: Monday
- Breakfast and departure by 10:00 AM
* Lunch in Siena tour is optional and not included in total price
